   Siam Cast Iron Works Co., Ltd. was established in April, 1974 under a joint venture agreement among Thai and Japanese enterprises, producing high quality cast iron and ductile iron valves employing Japanese technology and expertise.
   Our products are widely accepted in the local and international markets under the trade mark SCI for water works and waste service, air-conditioning, irrigation, power plant and industrial use, covering sluice valve, gate valve, butterfly valve, check valve, air valve and other, in conformity with AWWA, MSS Practice, BS, JIS, DIN and ISO standards.
   Since the commencement of production under the promotion certificate from the Board of Investment, the Company has been specializing in manufacture of high quality valves of cast iron and ductile iron, performing the whole production course, from high quality casting , precise machining and careful assembly, to the severe individual hydrostatic or air pressure testing and quality assurance inspection before shipment.
   Siam Cast Iron Works Co., Ltd. guarantees each product of its manufacture free from material defect or workmanship when such products are installed and used in accordance with service. They are guaranteed for one year from date of shipment, but damage resulting from improper storage, improper handling or installation will not be considered under SCI 's liability is limited to repair or replacement only.

7. OPERATOR

SCI shall provide the following operator upon request :
1. Handwheel, wrench nut or cap, valve wrench, chainwheel & sprocket, lever, floor stand ( head stock) and extension stem for gate valves and butterfly valves.
2. Gearing of spur or bevel, open or enclosed type for gate valves.
3. Gearing of worm or worm gear with bevel and traveling nut, enclosed with grease for butterfly valves.
4. Cylinder or electric motor for gate valve and butterfly valve.
5. Lever & weight (counter weight), Lever & spring & weight, hydraulic cylinder (oil dash-pot) and air cushioned for check valves.

8. VALVE ENDS AVAILABLE

SCI shall provide the following ends connection upon request :
1. Flanged ends.
2. Socket ends. (ringtite, push-on, hub etc.)
3. Spigot ends.
4. Screw ends, threaded ends.
5. Mechanical joint ends.
6. Victaulic (groove) and shoulder ends.
7. Combination of ends.

9. SPECIAL ACCESSORIES

Special accessories shall be provided upon request :
1. Bosses for drainage, by-pass and pipe connection
2. By-pass unit
3. Clean-out
4. Valve locking device
5. Various type of indicators such as needle and slot type (mechanical positive type), differential type, worm gear (barrel) type, indicator post and etc.
6. Bronze or non-corrosion metal guides, shoes and rollers for gate valves

10. COATING

The following paints are our standard coating :
1. Bitumen (cold application)
2. Alkyd based enamel
3. Coal tar epoxy
4. Potable grade epoxy resin (light blue)
5. Powder epoxy resin (light blue)
Other paints can be provided upon request.
